Austin Pride Festival

The Austin Pride Festival and Parade is back and will take over Austin on Saturday, August 12! With over 400,000 people attending last year, you're guaranteed to have a great time at this year's "Keep Austin Queer'd"-themed celebration. Join CapMetro and other local businesses and agencies at the parade, who will be handing out Pride swag along the way.

Kick off the celebration at the Austin Pride Festival at Fiesta Gardens (2101 Jesse E. Segovia Street) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Purchase tickets to the festival here. You can ride CapMetro bus route 2 to arrive just a short walk from the festival, or bike on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail

Following the festival, the Austin Pride Parade will run through the heart of Austin from 8 to 11 p.m. and is FREE and open to the public! It begins at the Texas State Capitol Building and marches down Congress Avenue, ending on the Ann Richards Bridge. To get there, ride the CapMetro rail to the Downtown Station, rent a MetroBike, scooter, or ride a CapMetro bus. Plan your CapMetro trip here.
