We depend on nature for our health, well-being, and survival. There is a growing body of research that proves the many benefits of spending time in nature from simply walking in the park to engaging in clinical ecotherapy interventions. Mindfulness is an ancient practice that has been clinically proven to support mental health. Participants in this workshop will gain an understanding of the emotional and somatic benefits of practicing mindfulness in nature, as well as practical tools and activities to use with children and adults. Learning about mindfulness in nature is the perfect way to kick off Mental Health Awareness month!
Workshop is offered twice on May 3rd, 2:00 and 7:00 Central.
